It’s back! It’s been way too long, but we are excited to say that Tasty Tuesday has made a triumphant return. Simply put, Tasty Tuesday is the day when we talk about some of the yummy stuff we have been digging at Dad Does. Amazingly, Tasty Tuesday always falls on a Tuesday…good thing we didn’t call it Tasty Thursday, that would have been awkward.
EVOL CUPS – Tasty, Healthy Food In a Cup???
Food in a cup. Does that statement have your mouth watering? How about frozen food in a cup? You drooling yet? Yeah, didn’t think so.
Honestly, we tend to avoid so called tasty meals that come frozen in a cup – just doesn’t do much for us. However, we couldn’t avoid the new EVOL CUPS…mostly because they were delivered to our doorstep.
The fine folks at EVOL sent us an awesome selection of their CUPS in addition to some swag. Since the EVOL CUPS need to be frozen, there was also dry ice in the package…you would have thought it was gold to my son. After making smoke pour out of water and dry ice, we got down to tasting the EVOL CUPS.
Here is the shocker…these cups are actually very tasty!
EVOL Moves Beyond The Burrito
We have been fans of EVOL for a while. They make tasty and healthy frozen burritos…and who doesn’t love burritos. They use clean, natural ingredients –
“EVOL Foods’ products have no artificial flavors or coloring. Chicken, beef and pork come from animals on US Farms that are fed a 100% vegetarian diet and raised without the use of Antibiotics or Hormones. Eggs come from hens that have not been confined to a cage and our cheese is free from added hormone. Grains, vegetables and oils are non-GMO.”
Throw in the social good the company does and you have a winning combination.
Now EVOL moves into on-the-go meals in a cup with the new EVOL CUPS ($2.99 – $3.49 Retail). These are part of Target’s Made to Matter Collection. Here is the run-down –

Yes, They Do Taste Like Real Food!
Often when you pull something out of the freezer, put in the microwave for a few minutes and eat your meal out of a cup…authentic and tasty do not come to mind. The crazy thing is, authentic and tasty is exactly what the EVOL CUPS are! We love that they are only 120-210 calories, yet don’t taste like diet food.
