Review: Razor Crazy Cart, The Go Kart You Would Have Dreamed Up When You Were 10

Crazy Cart

Crazy Cart

Travel back in time with me.  Think back to when you were 10.  If you could dream up any type of Go Kart, would it be something like this –

  • Electric powered to give you speed
  • Free spinning wheels to allow you to drift and spin endlessly
  • Brake?  No, what 10 year old dreams of a brake?  Just a gas pedal…

Well, your time traveling 10 year old dreams have just come true with the Crazy Cart from Razor.  The Crazy Cart is an insanely fun ride-on that does outrageous spins, drifts, goes 12 MPH and yep, has absolutely no brake!

The Crazy Cart needs to be seen to be enjoyed.  Please watch our video review of the Razor Crazy Cart –

The Crazy Cart’s Spins Will Make a Ballerina Jealous

I’m not sure the video did it justice, but when you put the Crazy Cart into a full 360 degree spin, you are spinning with some serious velocity.  You think spinning on a tire swing can make you dizzy?  Wait until you spend some time on the Crazy Cart.  The ability to spin and drift…with great speed…is really unmatched in any other ride-on or go kart.  We love the Power Rider 360, but as the video shows, the Crazy Cart takes spinning and drifting to a whole new level.

Here are the key features on the Razor Crazy Cart –

  • Speeds up to 12 mph
  • Up to 40 minutes of continuous use on one charge
  • Drift Bar allows drivers to completely control their drifts, spins, and cornering!
  • Variable speed foot pedal acceleration (no brake)
  • 360 degree plus steering capability for tight turns
  • Pneumatic front tire
  • Front stabilizing posts
  • Max Weight of Rider: 140 lb
  • Age: 9+
  • Product Weight: 55.2 lb
  • Assembled Product Dimensions: 37” L x 24” W x 19” H
  • 24V (two 12V) sealed lead acid rechargeable battery system
  • Battery Charger Included (12 hours for full recharge)

Only Two Things Can Stop The Fun – Dead Battery or Nausea

In our testing there were only two things that could stop the kids from riding the Crazy Cart – a dead battery or nausea.  The battery lasts about 40 minutes, which is pretty good considering the speed and power of the Crazy Cart.  The problem is a full recharge can take up to 12 hours, so basically once the battery dies, you are done playing for that day.  Which might not be a bad thing…

As fun as the Crazy Cart is, after 30 minutes of high speed spins, the kids really can get very dizzy and feel sea sick. This is not a knock on the Crazy Cart, rather a compliment to its speed and power!  So, having the battery die after 40 minutes is probably a good thing as it forces the kids to take a rest and get their equilibrium back.

The Crazy Cart is Truly Crazy Fun

Owning a Crazy Cart is like having your own amusement park in your driveway! Kids ages 9 and up are going to absolutely love riding the Crazy Cart.  Luckily for us parents, assembly is a breeze.  All you need to install is the steering wheel – everything else is already assembled.  You do need to charge it, so you may want to charge it overnight before you give it as a gift to the kids.

Once the kids see the Crazy Cart they will want to jump on and have fun.  Here is what you need to stress to them – there is no brake!  It just takes a little getting used to, but the kids will get it in no time.  Besides, who wants to brake when you could stop by doing a 180 drift instead?
